Make an apron as a beginner sewing project to learn how to sew, then sew a reversible bowl koozie to practice your sewing skills. The bowl holder will protect your hands from both hot and cold food; plus it will help hold in the heat or cold; great for hot soup or bowls of ice cream! This is an easy project to make for yourself or to give as a gift. All supplies will be provided; free will donation. The workshop begins at 10 a.m. and the projects will be completed in one session; end time may vary per sewer. Bring your own sewing machine, if you have one; or reserve a machine when you register (5 available). The workshop is being held in the Friends of Fred Smith Studio located near the back parking area at the Wisconsin Concrete Park. Pre-registration required; send a message on Facebook, call the FoFS Studio at 715-339-7282, or text 715-820-0633.
